COSTA MESA — Kallie Ryker and Lara Tishler each scored a hat trick for the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.
Taryn Bales added two goals, while Ayla Medina and Erica Munoz-Hardway had one goal each for OCC (13-5-1, 9-5-1).
Bales, Munoz-Hardway and Tishler also had two assists each, while Ryker added one assist.
Goalie Alyssa Simon had two saves in her shutout.
The Pirates outshout the Rustlers, 40-2.

PEBBLE BEACH — The UC Irvine men’s golf team finished fifth Tuesday at Poppy Hills Golf Course.
Nevada won the 16-team tournament with a 54-hole total of 869. Oregon State was second at 875, San Diego third at 875, Denver fourth at 881 and UCI totaled 885.
Domingo Jojola of USF was medalist with a three-round total of seven-under 209 (71-69-69).
UCI senior John Chin placed fourth at one-under 215 on rounds of 73-73-69.
Freshman Jerry He finished 16th at 221 (76-71-74) and junior Bryan Harris was 25th at 224 (74-74-76). Junior Max Greil (77-78-74) and freshman Michael Yang (73-79-77) tied for 48th place at 229.
This was the final tournament of the fall schedule for UCI, which plays host to the Anteater Invitational Feb. 1-2 at Mesa Verde Country Club.

FULLERTON — Takuma Hori scored two goals for the Pirates and Shun Katashima added one in the Orange Empire Conference match Tuesday.
Hori finished with two goals and an assist, while Colin Heim and Antonio Gonzalez also dished out assists for OCC (8-9-3, 5-5-3 in conference).
Goalkeeper Zakre Silva had six saves for the Pirates, who wrap up the regular season at Riverside on Friday at 3 p.m.

COSTA MESA — Heather DeJongh and Kelsey Wirt had 14 kills each for the No. 11-ranked Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference match Tuesday,.
But No. 15-ranked PLNU pulled off the upset, 22-25, 25-18, 28-26, 25-22.
Jessica Roy had 10 kills and Meghan Walsh amassed 49 assists for the Lions (16-12, 10-9 in conference).PLNU improved to 19-10, 9-10.
