Danette Jolene Burnside

Born on August 7, 1956 in Orange, California to Guy “Landis” and Josephine Amburgey, passed away on October 17, 2009. Danette was raised in Costa Mesa and graduated from Costa Mesa High school. Danette attended Orange Coast College where she focused on general education and completed her AS in Business Administration with a concentration on Accounting at Riverside Community College.

Danette spent many summers on the beach in Newport. She enjoyed the outdoors, researching genealogy and spending time with her family, especially her husband and 6 grandchildren.

Danette is survived by her husband of 35 years, James, her parents Guy and Jo Amburgey, brothers Dale and Scott Amburgey, 3 children Dustin Burnside, Desirae Thompson, and Jenna Caswell, and 6 grandchildren as well as many beloved family members and friends. Danette had a heart of gold and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

A viewing and rosary will be held on Sunday, October 25th 2009 from 5-7 pm at Murrieta Valley Mortuary. Mass services will be held on Monday, October 26th 2009 at 9:30 am at St. Martha’s Catholic Church, 37200 Whitewood Rd, Murrieta, CA 92563. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Danette’s name to the American Diabetes
