Pilates Plus Having Pre-Opening Sale This Weekend

Pilates Plus is opening at Newport North Shopping Center in Newport Beach on July 1, and is offering a pre-opening sale June 26 through 28. Clients who sign up with a friend during these days will receive two Monthly Unlimited Pilates memberships for the price of one.

Pilates Plus, owned by local residents Vanessa Malchev and Amy Briant, offers the cutting edge Systeme Dynamique workout, the first of its kind in Orange County. Created by international fitness guru Sebastian Lagree, Systeme Dynamique has long been heralded by professional athletes and celebrities as their fitness regime of choice.

Known as SPX, the workout is largely based on the holistic principles of Pilates but also emphasizes strength training and cardio elements not inherent to Pilates.

“SPX is a unique and revolutionary workout designed to strengthen, tighten, and tone the body quickly and safely, all in just 50 minutes,” said Malchev. “We are thrilled to bring this phenomenal fitness opportunity to Newport Beach.”

Pilates Plus will be open daily and offer more than 35 group classes a week. In addition to classes, private sessions will also be available by appointment.
