Preservation of Triangle Park and the Main Street Library
June 18, Thursday, 7pm
Rally to support the preservation of Triangle Park and the Main Street Library
Don’t remember the 1910s?
Come with your family and friends to rally around the Main Street library at 6th and Main on Thursday evening, June 18, at 7 p.m. You’ll learn that Triangle Park was established in 1912. You’ll see the library in its original building, the one your high school students used for their Mock UN note-taking, the one children come to for play. You’ll realize there is something to that better, more peaceful time worth saving.
A proposal is before the Planning Commission to redevelop this “essence” of Huntington Beach into a tourist draw.
Please set aside 7 p.m. on June 18th to meet your friends and neighbors at Main and 6th. Bring a blanket; enjoy the evening with us!
