Area 1

Circle Way: A distressed baby seal was reported at Crescent Bay in the 1300 block at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday.

Hawthorne Road: A resident reported fraudulent retail accounts were opened and $2,200 charged in the 400 block at 11:40 a.m. Friday.

North Coast Highway: A Dana Point woman was issued a citation for possessing prescription pills without a prescription after police were called to a disturbance at a hotel room in the 1400 block at 9:48 a.m. Friday.

North Coast Highway: A three-vehicle collision was reported at Jasmine Street at 11:06 a.m. Saturday.

North Coast Highway: Two men were reported to have stolen several bottles of liquor from a market in the 600 block at 7:36 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 2

Laguna Canyon Road: A “ball of fire” in the sky with an object falling in the canyon area was reported near the 73 Toll Road at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday.

Laguna Canyon Road: A Huntington Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after reportedly speeding and changing lanes in the 2000 block at 7:02 p.m. Thursday.

Laguna Canyon Road: Two people were taken to Mission Hospital with injuries after a traffic collision near Highway 73 at 8:14 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 3

Beach Street: Paramedics were called to treat someone who fell and sustained a head injury with facial lacerations at Broadway at 10:18 a.m. Wednesday.

Beach Street: A Newport Coast man was issued a citation for drug involvement after a traffic stop at Broadway at 11:17 p.m. Thursday.

Forest Avenue: A homeless man was issued a trespassing citation after he set up a camp on private property in the 300 block at 11:29 a.m. Sunday.

Park Avenue: A Laguna Beach woman was issued a citation for drug involvement in the 400 block at 8:12 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: A vehicle window was reported broken and a $100 loss sustained in the 500 block at 9:40 a.m. Friday.

South Coast Highway: A wallet was reported stolen from a nightclub, with a $50 loss, in the 600 block at 12:08 a.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A homeless man was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication after reportedly yelling and kicking trees near a hotel in the 600 block at 9:11 p.m. Sunday.

South Coast Highway: A $79,200 Rolex watch with diamonds on it was reported stolen from a public restroom at a hotel in the 400 block at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday.

Third Street: A San Clemente man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the 300 block at 7:13 p.m. Wednesday.

Third Street: A Laguna Beach woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Mermaid Street at 2:19 a.m. Friday.

Bluebird Canyon Drive: A man complained to police that a woman was looking at him with “evil eyes” in the 1200 block at 9:02 a.m. Friday.

Brooks Street: A Louisiana woman was arrested on suspicion of public intoxication in the 100 block at 12:51 a.m. Saturday.

Center Street: Food was reported thrown on a vehicle at Glenneyre Street at 8:22 a.m. Tuesday.

Ocean Way: A garaged vehicle was reported broken into by someone who entered through an unlocked door, with a loss of $500, at 5:38 p.m. Thursday.

Pearl Street: A Playa del Rey man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and his passenger, a Laguna Niguel man, arrested on suspicion of public intoxication at South Coast Highway at 2:37 a.m. Saturday.

Solana Way: A woman was treated by paramedics for face and neck injuries after she fell off a bicycle at Alta Vista Way at 10:25 a.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: An attempt to pass a fake $100 bill was reported at a restaurant in the 1200 block at 5:41 p.m. Tuesday.

Area 5

Coast Highway: Graffiti was reported at Aliso Beach in the 30000 block at 8:39 a.m. Wednesday.

Coast Highway: A vehicle window was reported smashed but nothing stolen at Laguna Terrace Park in the 30000 block at 6:05 p.m. Wednesday.

Coast Highway: A Pasadena man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Third Avenue at 11:17 p.m. Thursday.

Coast Highway: A Las Vegas man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a traffic stop at Fifth Avenue at 12:42 a.m. Saturday.

Moss Street: A Dana Point man was arrested on suspicion of DUI Coast Highway at 3:29 a.m. Saturday.

Seaview Street: A Laguna Beach man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after at traffic stop at Wilson Street at 8 p.m. Saturday.

Third Avenue: An iPod and glasses were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 31000 block at 7:39 a.m. Friday.
