More than 35 teachers from the Piecemakers Country Store in Costa Mesa showcased their skills at the group’s annual open house on Saturday.

Demonstrations on crafts ranging from quilt making, embroidery, jewelry making, cooking and doll making were featured, held on the first Saturday of every year.

The group hosts a variety of arts and crafts classes through the year. Upcoming classes include how to knit felted handbags, beginning sewing and ribbon embroidery.
