Seventh and eighth grade

Lakers 47, Clippers 24: The Lakers played strong team defense throughout and were led by the stellar play of Mark and Kevin Manchester who combined for 23 rebounds. Mark led all scorers with 18 points. Tyler Lopp dished out seven assists for the Lakers, while Will Van Daslem and Robbie Farber played well throughout. The Clippers were led by Kyle Morris and Paul MacCabe.

Hornets 47, Wizards 31: The Hornets improved to 3-0 win by beating a team that had been undefeated.

The Hornets used a balanced attack. Micah Cox led the way with 14 points. Kavi Sakraney (13 points) and Timmy Strader (12 points) were also in double figures, while Gannon Bond (six points) and Quinn Bassler (two points) also contributed.

The Wizards played well in defeat and were led by Reid Chase (11 points, eight rebounds) while Areya Aresh and David Bruno had season highs of seven points each.
