The Costa Mesa Youth in Government Program is still accepting applicants. This program offers students a chance to experience Costa Mesa government first hand. Students will participate in a variety of tours and field trips to various local agencies and operations that help keep our Costa Mesa government running smoothly. Community service credit is provided. See the attached flyer for more details.

Our next field trip and tour is to South Coast Plaza (SCP is important to Costa Mesa as it generates most of the revenue that funds our city operations). Students will not want to miss this special tour of the inside of SCP followed by a fun fashion and style reception.

Monday, January 26 at South Coast Plaza.

Please share with parents at Costa Mesa High School, Estancia, and Newport Harbor. The program is open to ALL Costa Mesa residents, so if you know of high school students attending private school who might be interested, please forward to them as well.
