Marolt hit 10 for 11 from the free-throw line for CdM (5-0), which will play host to Sage Hill Friday at 3 p.m.

John Leyva recorded his pin in 20 seconds in the 171-pound division, while Jesus Diaz (103), Eddie Garcia (130), Blake Alonso (135), Ryan Cerrato (140) and Kevin Millan (145) also won by fall.
Pedro Salas (112), Eric Nordstrom (160), Bradley Beaudette (189) and Cameron Rausch (heavyweight) won by forfeit, and Rene Escolero scored an 8-4 win in 215s.

CORONA DEL MAR — Freshman Grady Howe pulled the Sea Kings even, 1-1, in the 55th minute of the nonleague game Wednesday, but a late goal dropped the hosts’ record to 0-3-1.
Howe, playing his first varsity game after being called up from the junior varsity, scored the first goal of the season for the Sea Kings, on a play that began with a long throw-in by Alex Maintow. CdM’s Tommy Bangert flicked the ball with his head from the near post to the far post, to allow Howe to convert.
Zak Maurer-Erickson had seven saves for CdM, which played its best game of the year, according to Coach Pat Callaghan.
