Trader Joe’s to open third location in Huntington

Specialty grocer Trader Joe’s has announced that it will open a new store in Huntington Harbour, at the site of a former Ralph’s grocery market at Warner Avenue and Algonquin Street.

Another Trader Joe’s opened at Brookhurst Street and Hamilton Avenue on Oct. 31. The first Trader Joe’s in Surf City is in the Five Points shopping center at Main Street and Beach Boulevard.

The newest Trader Joe’s will not take up the entire space vacated by the Ralph’s, choosing instead to take about half the space. The remaining space will be subdivided for new tenants, reports stated.

It is not known yet when the store will open.
