Bring light to a youth’s life with snowflakes in H.B.

The CSP Huntington Beach Youth Shelter is seeking sponsors for this year’s Light a Light of Love snowflakes that are installed along the Huntington Beach Pier and downtown Main Street.

The 12th annual light-up begins at 6 p.m. Dec. 7 with a parade and live entertainment.

The large hanging snowflake sponsorships are available for a minimum $600 donation.

The shelter assists youth who have run away or are homeless, and serves as a bridge between the kids and their families. Through housing, counselors and tutoring, the shelter has helped more than 200 youth. Less than a handful of shelters throughout the county help unreferred youth.
