Ripcurl report available, discussion is Tuesday
The final environmental impact report for the proposed Ripcurl development is now available to the public.
To see the report, go to City Hall, Huntington Beach Central Library, or www.surfcity-hb.org/Government/ Departments/Planning/major/.
The project would put a six-story mix of residential and commercial development on a 3.8-acre site at Gothard Street and Center Avenue. Since the land is not zoned for mixed-use, developer Red Oak Investments is asking for the city to rezone the property.
Red Oak officials have said they plan to build the development up to green building standards.
The Huntington Beach Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on the report and the project at its meeting Tuesday.
