Tennis, Pilates offered to city’s seniors
The city of Laguna Beach Senior Services is offering mixed doubles in Senior Tennis 55+.
The group will met from 8 to 11 a.m. each Wednesday at Alta Laguna Park beginning Wednesday through Dec. 17. There is no charge to participate and registration is first come, first serve, at the courts. Space is limited and interested players are asked to bring their own tennis balls.
Alta Laguna Park is located at 3300 Alta Laguna Park.

Senior Services also is offering a course in Pilates.
Classes will be held from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at the Senior Center on Wednesdays and Fridays of each week. Classes got underway Wednesday and will be held through Dec. 19. There is no cost to attend.

Mesa Verde Partners going strong
There is just one undefeated team left in the city of Laguna Beach summer men’s softball leagues play, and that distinction belongs to Mesa Verde Partners.
Mesa Verde Partners has won all eight of its games and continues to lead the Wednesday League standings.
Sac Johnson leads the Monday League standings, Sandpiper has moved into a first-place tie with Team Viagra in the Tuesday League race and Arbitech continues its hold on the top spot in Thursday League play.
