Bucking does not stop here
The first rodeo at the Orange County Fair Saturday started with an amazing physical feat as Kent Lane, a world-renowned parachutist, dove out of an airplane and landed safely in the Action Sports Arena with an American flag trailing alongside him.
After that patriotic introduction, though, the real physical test began, as more than a dozen riders tried to stay on a thrashing bull for eight seconds. Only two of them — J. D. Brock of Marysville and Michael Huff of Quail Valley — managed that feat, but with a rodeo clown and others joining the show, it added up to an action-packed hour.
