Annual dog wash to raise funds for Bark Park

The Costa Mesa Bark Park will host a staff of volunteers who will wash dogs to raise money for the park at its annual Bath’Stille Day Dog Wash and Vendor Fair Aug. 9.

Dogs will be allowed to romp around at the park and drench themselves with mud before being wrangled into a tub for a bath and towel dry.

The event will last from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the price of a wash will depend on the size of the dog. Large dogs cost $20 and smaller dogs cost $15.

Vendors will also sell food and dog-related products. All proceeds will go toward the park.

The Costa Mesa Bark Park is on the southeast corner of TeWinkle Park at Arlington Drive and Newport Boulevard, right across from the Orange County Fair Equestrian Center. For more information, call the Bark Park at (949) 733-4101 or visit www.cmbarkpark.org.
