H.B. resident to be honored at BMW test-drive fundraiser

Roni Trinidad, a Huntington Beach resident, will be honored by the Orange County Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure as one of the “Local Heroes” for the BMW Ultimate Drive event Saturday.

Trinidad, a PIMCO employee, has participated in the Komen Orange County Race for the Cure with her company’s team for numerous years. She has also volunteered with Working Wardrobes and Canyon Acres. In 2002, she started a group within her company: the PIMCO Volunteers, which gains new members year after year.

The public is invited to test-drive any 2008 BMW, at no cost to them, and BMW will donate $1 per mile to Komen.

The Ultimate Drive event is from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at BMW of Sterling at 3000 West Coast Highway, Newport Beach. Trinidad will receive her award at a 4:30 p.m. presentation
