Real estate is topic at Rotary Club meeting
“Has the Real Estate Bubble Influenced Real Estate and Financing in Laguna Beach?” will be the topic of a talk by Rick Cirelli, owner of RTC Mortgage, and Gil Thibault, broker associate with Prudential California Realty, at the Laguna Beach Rotary Club meeting at noon June 6 at the Hotel Laguna.

O’Hare named to legal group
William S. O’Hare of Laguna Beach, administrative partner in charge of Snell & Wilmer’s Orange County office, was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers at the organization’s meeting in Tucson.
Founded in 1950, the college is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada. Lawyers must have a minimum of 15 years’ trial experience before they can be considered for Fellowship.
O’Hare is a commercial litigation partner in the Southwest regional business law firm of Snell & Wilmer, and has been practicing in Orange County for 30 years.
Bushnell elected to Yoga board
Lynn Bushnell, a YogaWorks instructor in Laguna Beach, has been elected to the board of directors of Yoga Alliance, which supports yoga teachers and the diversity and integrity of the practice. She will serve a three-year term.
Yoga Alliance is a nonprofit organization that maintains a Yoga Teacher’s Registry to recognize and promote teachers with training that meet the standards of Yoga Alliance.

Bent to lead physicians’ group
Dr. Tom Bent has been installed as president-elect of the California Academy of Family Physicians, the largest primary care medical society in California and the largest chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Bent is medical director and chief operating officer of the Laguna Beach Community Clinic. He joined the staff more than 20 years ago and three years ago was named chief operating officer. Under his guidance, the clinic has grown and now has more than 16,000 patient visits annually, six days per week. The clinic serves low-income people and the uninsured.
