IRVINE — Senior Becky Bernhard won at No. 1 singles for the Anteaters in their nonconference match Friday at Anteater Tennis Stadium.
Freshman Brooke Bartlett also won at No. 5 singles, 6-4, 6-2 for UCI (9-7).
The Anteaters play host to Cal State Northridge Sunday at 11 a.m.

NCAA Championships
FEDERAL WAY, Wash. — UC Irvine senior Eddie Erazo finished 28th in the 100-meter backstroke in 48.65 seconds Friday at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
He also was 32nd in the 100 butterfly in 47.96 seconds. Erazo will conclude the meet today as he competes in the 200 fly, an event where he holds the seventh-best time this season in the country.
Preliminaries will be at noon with finals at 7 p.m. at the Weyerhaeuser King County Aquatic Center.
SOFTBALL
Fullerton 8, Orange Coast 0
FULLERTON — Hornets freshman pitcher Ashley Cardenas threw a no-hitter in the Pirates’ mercy-rule loss in six innings in Orange Empire Conference action Friday.
Cardenas, who improved to 6-4, struck out three and was two walks away from a perfect game.
Orange Coast plays at Cuesta today in a nonconference doubleheader that starts at 2 p.m.

POMONA — Junior Gianna Rossi and sophomore Kat Plummer scored three goals each for the No. 8-ranked Anteaters in the nonconference game Wednesday.
