H. Bert LePort

August 19, 1914 - March 2, 2008

H. Bert LePort age 93, of Corona del Mar, passed away on Sunday, March 2^nd, 2008 of natural causes surrounded by his family. A service was held on Saturday, March 8^th, 2008 at 12:00 noon at Pacific View Mortuary in Corona del Mar.

Bert was the first born son of Russian immigrants who entered America through Ellis Island. He was an extremely patriotic man, passionate about this country, the American dream and the American promise. He was the revered and respected patriarch of his family who know him as a very hard working, strong and determined man. His favorite expression was “I never failed for lack of trying.”

He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann LePort, son Peter LePort, and daughters, Helane and Monica. He leaves behind 5 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 1 great-granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.

He is the shining example of a life well lived and will be remembered forever in the hearts of all those who loved him.
