Current projects reviewed
The commission reviewed its programs and projects for the 2007-08 budget year.
Pending projects include the addition of public art at the end of Brooks Street, which is on delay until the related renovation project is approved by the Design/Review Board, and a second Festival of Mosaics public art project, sites for which have to be determined.
Public Art Tour Day discussed
The commission created a committee to plan its upcoming Public Art Tour Day on April 20. The theme this year will be “Sights Unseen;” the event will feature works that are off the beaten track.
