Burks, Eagles face Laguna Beach in key league match

The last time Estancia and Laguna Beach met in boys’ soccer the Eagles were left with a 2-0 loss and their coach was assessed a red card.

But Estancia Coach Gannon Burks is back. He will be leading his Eagles to Laguna Beach with the hopes of getting back on top of the Orange Coast League standings today at 6 p.m.

Estancia is 4-1 in league, its only loss being to the Breakers Jan. 18. Laguna Beach is 3-1-1 in league.

The Eagles are the defending league champions.
