Grandparents can learn about autism at meeting

Simon Baron-Cohen, director of the Autism Research Centre at Cambridge University, will speak from 9 a.m. to noon at the Jan. 12 meeting of The Grandparent Autism Network, a local group helping to educate grandparents about autism and its impact on their families.

Baron-Cohen will present facts and discuss new areas of research, followed by a research round table at the meeting, at Mariners Church, 5001 Newport Coast Drive, Irvine.
