Team tidbits: Laguna set a school record for wins in a single season last year but lost Orange Coast League co-MVPS Cheyne Martin and Brian Delino, as well as first-team all-league player Bob Monroe, to graduation. Still, the Breakers have talented returning starters in first-team all-leaguer Ryan Lawler and second-team picks Marcus Hairston and Charley Bowman.

Coach’s outlook: “We should field a competitive team. They’re a hard-working, cohesive group that plays good team basketball. We’re looking forward to a successful year.”
