Paul Alexander
My darling husband, Paul Alexander was born Jan 4, 1926 in South Pasadena, CA He passed away on Oct. 13, 2007. He spent most of his childhood in Highland Park, CA. His mother moved him and his twin sisters to Costa Mesa Harbor High. He enlisted in the Navy in Jan. 1944. When he came home he graduated from Orange Coast College and went to Long Beach State. He joined the Costa Mesa Police Dept. in 1962, retiring Dec. 31, 1985. Paul was preceded in death by his Mother, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. He is survived by his wife Rita and a sister, Jane Draganza; also three children, Mrs. Richard (Michelle) Lerum, Mrs. Paul (Cathy) Campbell, and Mike Alexander; three stepchildren, Mrs. Al (Nancy) Killaroza, Marilyn Brooks, and Raymond Erickson. They have ten grandchildren, three sisters-in-laws, Marion Alexander, June Perrenoud, and Mrs. Joseph (Jackie) Theriot. Paul loved life and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a member of the Newport Elks and the American Legion. I miss you very much my darling, but you are no longer in pain. I love you. There will be a celebration of Paul’s life on November 24, 2007 from 1pm to 6pm at their home, 13295 Ivanpah, Apple Valley, CA. 92308
