Another person was detained and released pending a review of the case by the District Attorney’s office, Lenyi stated.

  • Less than one ounce of marijuana;
  • One marijuana plant;
  • Drug paraphernalia;
  • Switchblade knife and other edged weapons;
  • Two handguns, a rifle, a shotgun and ammo;
  • Metal knuckles;
  • Stun gun;
  • Night-vision goggles;

  • Two arrested in Ecstasy sales in North Laguna

    Two Mission Viejo residents, one a minor, were arrested at 8:30 p.m. Oct. 16 by Laguna Beach Police officers following an undercover operation in a shopping center parking lot in the 600 block of North Coast Highway in Laguna Beach, according to Sgt. Darin Lenyi.

    The suspects were taken into custody after they allegedly completed a drug transaction in the parking lot. Further arrests may be pending. Police seized as evidence 100 ecstasy pills with an estimated street value of $2,500.

    Jacob Gillmore, 24, was arrested on a charge of sales of a controlled substance and booked at the city jail. He was later released on $25,000 bail.

    A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of sales of a controlled substance and was released to his parent after booking.
