Award-winning children’s authors to visit Costa Mesa
The First Page children’s bookstore announced three award-winning children’s authors are coming to the shop’s Costa Mesa location, 270 E. 17th St., Suite 10, for readings and book signings.
First up is Mo Willems at 11 a.m. Sept. 24. Willems, best known for his picture story book “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!,†will be on hand for First Page’s daily story hour.
He has also written “Don’t Let the Pigeons Stay up Late!†and the Knuffle Bunny story series.
From 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. Sept. 25, the “Aurora County All-Stars†author Deborah Wiles will sign her new book.
A month later, Susan Patron will be at First Page at 4 p.m. Oct. 24, to answer questions about her Newberry-Award winning “The Higher Power of Lucky.â€
