Shaw’s Cove project begins

Reconstruction of a sewer lift station at Shaw’s Cove is scheduled to begin today and continue through April, City Manager Ken Frank announced Sept. 14.

Weekday construction traffic should be expected.

Temporary lane closures will occur southbound along Cliff Drive to Fisherman’s Cove.

Pedestrian beach access to Shaw’s Cove will be open most of the time during construction, and notices of closures will be provided as far in advance as possible.

Additionally, a telephone hotline has been established for the public to voice questions or concerns about the project.
