PET OF THE WEEK
Shiloh is a 5-month-old male flamepoint Siamese kitten looking for a home.
Community Animal Network provided a free spay to Shiloh’s mother, as part of its program to control the animal population in addition to finding homes for litters of abandoned kittens.
Shiloh, 13 cages of kittens and Juliette, the white Siamese cat that delivered a litter of 13 several months ago, will be available for adoption this weekend from noon to 4 p.m. outside of Russo’s Pet Experience in Fashion Island.
Community Animal Network has had children volunteering every weekend and receiving community service hours.
The organization welcomes additional volunteers, because school will be starting in September and it is still in need of help caring for rescued and abandoned animals.
