3 Thirty 3 Waterfront to add outdoor dining
The restaurant 3 Thirty 3 Waterfront, on the waterfront off Bayside Drive in Newport Beach, will add outdoor dining after getting the thumbs-up from the city’s Planning Commission last week.
Residents on nearby Linda Isle worried about nighttime noise from the 636-square-foot patio, so the commission opted to limit the number of seats available outside, restrict the hours of operation and set other conditions to keep noise to a minimum.
The restaurant seems to have done well since opening in 2005, after spending a year and $2 million to convert the former Yankee Tavern into a style that proprietor Jeff Reuter describes as “Bali modern.”
