Estancia 184, Costa Mesa 234COSTA MESA — Drew Bertoni was the medalist after shooting a one-under-par 34 at Costa Mesa Golf & Country Club’s Mesa Linda course Thursday, helping the Eagles finish 12-0 in the Orange Coast League. It was the fifth straight season Estancia went undefeated in league. Over the past five seasons, the Eagles are 44-0 in league.

Ryan Knapp finished second with a 36 in the final regular-season league meet for Estancia (18-4), which had Andrew Ayala, Kyle Jones and Storm Hagen each shoot 38.

Billy Lim and Garrick Vohs each shot 38s for Costa Mesa (3-9 in league).

Marina 189, Newport Harbor 189HUNTINGTON BEACH — Andrew Skjonsby shot the lowest for the Sailors with a one-over-par 36 for second overall in the Sunset League match at Meadowlark Golf Club Thursday.

Sage Hill 218, Saddleback ValleySAN JUAN CAPISTRANO — James Chai shot five-over-par 41 to earn medalist honors and lead the Lightning to the Academy League win at San Juan Hills Country Club Thursday.

Ryan Babbush (43), Mac Mace (44), Geoff Grant (45) and Steve Choi (45) also scored Sage Hill (15-3, 10-2 in league), which finished second in the Academy.

University 203,NEWPORT BEACH — Taylor Keddington was the medalist after finishing with a two-over-par 37 in the Sea Kings’ last Pacific Coast League match of the regular season at Newport Beach Country Club Thursday.

David Su shot a 38, followed by Josh Starnes (46), Brett Jones (47) and Alex Ludlow (49) for Corona del Mar (6-10, 3-5 in league), which finished in fourth place in league.

SOFTBALL

Laguna Hills 5, Corona del Mar 0LAGUNA BEACH — Michelle Tolfa had the Sea Kings’ lone hit in Thurday’s Pacific Coast League game, making it the fifth time in their last six games they’ve been shut out.

Tolfa (8-12) struck out seven and walked one batter in six innings for Corona del Mar (9-13, 5-5 in league).

The Sea Kings play a doubleheader with Newport Harbor at Bonita Creek Park Saturday. The first game starts at 1:30 p.m.
