Newport Breakers 4, North Irvine 0: The Breakers needed a win and at least three goals to win the league championship, and accomplished both goals for the Advanced Play Program title.

With two key players missing (August Sullivan and Delaney McCardle), two injured and hobbled players (Kirsten Rohan and Katherine Maddox) and a sick player (Paige Tennison), the Breakers needed a total team effort. That’s what happened, as Madison Mastera scored three goals and Hannah Nance scored a fourth. Assists were recorded by Brinley Siemonsma (two), Maddox and Hannah Roman.
