COLLEGE ROUNDUP:Tigers trim Anteaters in OT
IRVINE — The University of the Pacific rallied from a 4-1 deficit late in the third quarter to post a 6-5 overtime win over UC Irvine in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s water polo match Sunday.
It was the fifth straight loss for UCI (6-13, 0-2 in the MPSF) and the fifth overtime setback this season for the No. 10-ranked Anteaters.
Dragan Bakic scored the lone overtime goal for UOP (14-9, 2-1).
Junior Colin Mello led UCI scorers with two goals.

LONG BEACH — The Anteaters’ scoreless streak extended to six matches in the Big West Conference setback Sunday.
UCI (3-12-1, 0-6 in conference) has been outscored, 18-0, in six conference games. The Anteaters have been blanked 11 times this season and have been held without a goal in eight of their last nine contests.
The 49ers (13-3-1), ranked No. 20, outshot the ‘Eaters, 11-4.
Brittany Webster had two shots for UCI, which received two saves from Erin Henry.
UCI plays host to Cal State Fullerton on Sunday.
