2006 CALIFORNIA BIENNIAL

The Orange County Museum of Art presents the 2006 California Biennial, an event with more than 150 works. The exhibition will be at the Newport Beach location, 850 San Clemente Dr., and in Costa Mesa at 3333 Bear St. Hours vary.

The Philharmonic Society of Orange County presents the Kirov Orchestra, conducted by Valery Gergiev, at the Renée and Henry Segerstrom Hall, 615 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa, at 8 p.m. A pre-concert lecture by Rich Capparela, classical music radio personality and broadcast announcer for the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, begins at 7 p.m. Ticket prices range from $25 to $200, and are available at the Center box office. HOME TOUR

The 33rd Annual Corona del Mar Home Tour takes guests through six homes in Corona del Mar and surrounding coastal areas from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $60 and include breakfast at 8 a.m. at French 75 in Fashion Island, lunch at Sherman Gardens, and a cocktail reception at Neiman Marcus from 4 to 6 p.m. Cost is $60; proceeds benefit Corona del Mar High School and Middle School.
