DENNIS WESLEY WILLIAMS

Costa Mesa resident Dennis Wesley Williams died of cancer Sept. 1. He was 69.

Williams was born April 2, 1937, in Bedford, Ind. He worked as an engineer for Boeing and lived in Costa Mesa for four years.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Williams; three sons, James C. Williams, Joseph K. Williams and Jacob D. Williams; a daughter, Jennifer L. Williams; two brothers, John and Phillip; and three sisters, Karen, Janice and Jeannie.

A memorial service is scheduled at 2:30 p.m. today at Pacific View Memorial Park, 3500 Pacific View Dr., Corona del Mar.

CHARLES ROWLAND MEYER

Longtime Newport Beach resident Charles Rowland Meyer died of natural causes Sept. 2. He was 85.

Meyer, born May 25, 1921, in Phillipsburg, Pa., was the retired owner of Jonathan Manufacturing Co. He lived in Newport Beach for 18 years.

Meyer is survived by his wife, Margit Meyer; two daughters, Sally Howard and Peggy Penberthy; a brother, Jonathan Meyer; and three grandchildren.

Private services were arranged by Pacific View Memorial Park in Corona del Mar.
