A man’s body was found in a vacant lot in the 700 block of South Coast Highway Friday at about 4 p.m. on April 21.

Police identified the man as Markus Miller, 57, Laguna Beach Police Officer Greg Walloch said.

Walloch said the lot was used by transients as a camp.

“He was lying face up when we got there. There was nothing else suspicious,” Walloch said.

“It appears to be natural causes, pending the coroner’s report, and nothing to suggest foul play,” Capt. Danelle Adams said.
