PET OF THE WEEK
FRANNIE
Frannie is a 22-pound, 7-year-old, gray terrier-poodle mix. She loves car rides, tennis balls and walks.
Frannie is one of the lucky dogs whose owner is taking responsible steps to place her dog into a new home. A single mother and her 8-year-old daughter raised Frannie since she was a puppy. They will miss her terribly but could not find affordable housing that would accept her.
The website www.animalnetwork.org offers free 30-day web photo listings for dogs needing to find new homes. E-mail your dog’s photo to [email protected], along with a pet bio, contact numbers and vaccination information.
The Community Animal Network is a community-supported animal organization linking people and pets through community action. The network has no kennel and is able to help animals only when people become involved and provide temporary homes until permanent homes can be found. All veterinary services and food expenses are paid for by the network until the animals are adopted.
If you are interested in fostering, please call (949) 697-6632.
