FOR THE RECORD

A “Coming Up” item in Monday’s paper concerning Newport Harbor High School’s Grad Night fundraising party incorrectly stated that the Thursday event would include casino-style games and a live disc jockey. Those activities will take place at Grad Night itself, not the fundraiser. The party on Thursday features a live and silent auction, an appetizer buffet and opportunities for parents to sign up for Grad Night duty.

Parents-only school party

Newport Harbor High School’s Grad Night, held in June, will provide a welcome relief for students who worked hard to graduate. This week, parents can join the fun with “European Vacation,” an adults-only event held to raise funds for the annual student bash. Among the attractions Thursday evening are a silent and live auction, casino-style games, food and a live DJ.

“European Vacation” lasts from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday at Sterling BMW, 3000 W. Coast Highway, Newport Beach. Tickets are $20 at the door, with casual attire requested and valet parking provided. Call (949) 722-8413 or (949) 548-6867 for information.
