The Glendale Community College Theatre Arts Department is having

auditions for the production of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”

today and Wednesday in the Mainstage Theatre. All auditions are by

cold readings from the script. “Romeo and Juliet” will open Oct. 27

Zareh will be showing his paintings and drawings in a second solo

exhibition at the Harvest Gallery. The opening reception is from 7 to

The Glendale Symphony Orchestra Assn. presents Dennis Prager

giving a talk on “Thoughts About Music,” with music by the symphony’s

principal members, at 7 p.m. at the Alex Theatre, 216 N. Brand Blvd.,

Glendale. Prager, a nationally syndicated talk show host, is the

author of several books and a frequent guest on such TV shows as

“Larry King Live” and “The O’Reilly Factor.” He is a music aficionado

and will present insights into some of the greatest composers.
