DEDICATED TO SKATING

Costa Mesa’s skateboard park opened in late June, but now the city

will make it official with a dedication ceremony Tuesday. Stop by the

Volcom Skate Park of Costa Mesa at 4 p.m. for a few speeches and

skating demonstrations.

The park is at 900 Arlington Drive in TeWinkle Park. Skaters must

wear helmets and other appropriate safety gear.

They will be “locked up for a good cause” at Tommy Bahamas, 854
