Allison Sanders of Newport Beach was one...

Allison Sanders of Newport Beach was one of two students who won a

Paychex entrepreneurial scholarship. The $500 scholarship is awarded

to California residents who demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a

career as a certified public accountant. Sanders, who expects to

graduate from the University of San Diego in 2007, is pursuing an

accounting degree.

Kathryn I. Salter, daughter of Fred and Wendy Salter of Corona del

Mar, graduated May 21 with a bachelor of arts degree from Kenyon

College. Salter majored in psychology.

Navy Airman Brandon G. Roldan, a 2001 graduate of Costa Mesa High

School, was recently deployed overseas aboard the U.S. Navy

amphibious assault ship Saipan by the European Central Commandin

support of the global war on terrorism. Roldan joined the Navy in

August 2001.

Air Force Senior Airman Farrell A. Roth, a 2004 graduate of

Estancia High School, graduated from the Weather Forecaster

Apprentice Course at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Miss. The

course is designed to train students in the fundamentals of Air Force

weather forecasting operations.
