A trust has been established to help pay medical costs for Glenn

Morton, the Orange Coast College men’s tennis coach who remains in a

coma after a head-on car accident Wednesday.

Brian Morton, Glenn’s son and a senior tennis standout at UC

Irvine, said those interested in contributing funds may call (714)

356-6540 for information.

Brian Morton said his father remained in an induced coma Monday in

the intensive care unit at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. He is

in critical condition.

The younger Morton said doctors have discussed eventually taking

steps to bring Glenn Morton out of the coma, but there is no

timetable for when that might begin.

Brian Morton, said his mother, Laura, sisters Heather and Melissa,

all of whom live in Costa Mesa, as well as the remaining members of

the family, wish to thank the numerous wellwishers who have

expressed, concern and support the last several days.
