Blue Diamonds rally past Rattlers

The Blue Diamonds put together a big third period on both sides of

the floor, rallying for a 4-3 victory over the Rattlers in Norris

Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center.

The defense got a shutout in the third period, and goals by Ethan

Higbee and Jared Mohl allowed the Blue Diamonds to wipe out a 3-2

deficit.

Higbee also scored the first goal for the Blue Diamonds, followed

by a goal from Anthony Tullio.

Lukas Welinder picked up three assists. Sam Prizler recorded 20

saves.

Dane Chavez scored once and had an assist to lead the Rattlers

offensively. Joshua Gruwell and Michael Kramer also scored and Keane

Wong had an assist.

Savannah Patton had 21 saves for the Rattlers.

In other Norris Division action:

Hornets 6, Bruins 3

The Hornets outscored the Bruins, 6-1, over the final two periods,

to pull away to the win.

Wyatt Colvard posted a match-best three goals for the Hornets.

Alex LeBas, Zachary Locke and Nick Somes each scored once and Dylan

McCarthy and Luke Barrett each had an assist.

Tori Gianformaggio had 30 saves in the victory.

Philip Pascarelli and Nick Hoskins scored for the Bruins, Derek

Baljeu had an assist and Troy Baljeu had 20 saves.

Hot Shots 5, HB Devils 5

Each team scored once in an overtime shootout and the match ended

in a tie.

Kevin Ozeretny scored the first goal and netted the overtime goal

to lead the Hot Shots.

Teammates Trenton Coats, Luke Winstead and Alan Plummer also

scored.

Cody Sizemore had a goal and pair of assists and Brandon Sizemore

scored twice to lead the HB Devils on offense. Travis Hunter and

Daniel Burkhardt also scored and Austin Raban recorded 27 saves.
