Huntington Beach resident Elizabeth P. Bowlin was honored as 2004

Business Woman of the Year by the League of United Latin American

Citizens on Nov. 12, and as outstanding volunteer by the Assn. of

Fundraising Professionals as part of the National Philanthropy Day

Celebration. Bowlin has more than 14 years of experience in the

banking industry and joined Union Bank four years ago. As vice

president and manager of the bank’s Huntington Beach branch, Bowlin

is responsible for all aspects involved with the branch including

business and community development. Bowlin is also active in various

business, civic and charitable organizations. She serves as a board

member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Orange County, Latino

Health Access, Coastline Community College Foundation, National

Latino Business Women of Orange County and the Orange County

President’s Counsel.
