Moorlach would make a great supervisor Run...
Moorlach would make
a great supervisor
Run Johnny run.
This is in response to the Monday story, “Treasurer considering
supervisor run.” John Moorlach, who has lived in Costa Mesa for 20
years, is eyeing a 2nd District seat opening in 2006.
On this Thanksgiving that is good news for the people of
Newport-Mesa and Orange County. Imagine having someone who is capable
and well-trained for the office of supervisor. He might even
represent us.
So run Johnny run. See Johnny run. See Johnny run for supervisor.
See the people vote for Johnny. See the people smile.

Pilot should take more
care with its headlines
Your headline “Police downplay a rise in area hate crimes” is a
problem in and of itself. No news is good news. Don’t try to
manufacture a problem with such tactics. Many people read only the
headlines, or a few inches of a column, unless it is on a particular
interest, so would not read that the “hate crimes” cited were three
instances of spray-painted graffiti. I would encourage whoever writes
the headlines at the Pilot to look at articles from all sides before
giving what could be a misleading or inflammatory cast to what
follows.
