After a seesaw battle throughout the game, Blue Titans’ forward Ori

Tabak scored the game-winning goal with less than three minutes left

in the game, propelling the Blue Titans to victory in this boys

under-14 AYSO region 57 game.

The Titans opened the scoring on a corner kick from Camden

Nicholson, with goals added by Sky Sterns and Kevin Wang.

The opponents from Costa Mesa played catch up most of the game

with strong passing and solid defense. The Titans’ middle field of

David Broekelschen, Scott Hansen, Ryan Casanova, Zack Martin and

Andrew Iverson helped keep the game close until Ori’s winning goal.

The Titans’ defense was led by keepers Brad Jones and Connor

Gaughan, who had multiple saves with help from Alex Merline and

Michael Merline.

In boys under-10 play:

victory. Max Premer scored the first goal, while Andrew Minkus and

Cameron Davis followed up with two goals apiece. Andrew Francini
