Kinder -- Pattison

S. Bruce Pattison and M. Diane Bellis of Newport Beach announce

the engagement of their son, P. Morgan Pattison of Santa Barbara, to

Lisa Kinder of Santa Barbara.

The bride-elect, daughter of Raymond and Sharon Kinder of

Charleston, W.V., graduated from Charleston Catholic High School, MIT

and Stanford University.

The future groom graduated from Newport Harbor High School, UC San

Diego and UC Santa Barbara.

Both are working toward their doctorates in material science at UC

Santa Barbara.

An Oct. 30 wedding is planned in Sacred Heart Cathedral Church in

Charleston, W.V.

Langille -- Pattison

Annette Langille and S. Bruce Pattison, both of Newport Beach,

exchanged wedding vows Sept. 4 at Galaxy Park in Newport Beach.

The bride, employed by the Travel Store in Irvine, is the daughter

of Dan and Katie Langille of Newport Beach. She wore a hand-dyed,

wine- and chartreuse-colored layered silk and lace gown.

The groom, owner of Pattison Commodities in Newport Beach, is the

son of Rev. S.W. and Clarice Pattison of Toronto, Ontario.

The matron of honor was Patricia Wynne. The best man was Stephen

Shuman. Ushers included Aaron Hanson, Trevor Pattison and Morgan

Pattison.

A reception with 24 guests was held at a friend’s house

overlooking the Back Bay. The couple plans to live in Newport Beach

following a honeymoon to an undisclosed California resort.
