WEDNESDAY

* Monarch Bay Drive and Pacific Coast Highway: A Mar Vista man was

arrested in Dana Point on suspicion of driving under the influence

after Laguna Beach police received a report of a race at 2:10 a.m.

TUESDAY

* 2nd Avenue: A woman reported her 1997 Nissan Sentra was stolen

after it had been missing for three weeks in the 31600 block at 11:45

a.m.

* Broadway: A man reported he was given a forged check at a bank

in the 200 block at 9:48 a.m.

* Cliff Drive: A Midway City woman was arrested on suspicion of

being under the influence of a controlled substance after police

responded to a report of a woman singing in the 700 block at 2:04

a.m.

* South Coast Highway: Two children were reportedly throwing water

balloons at pedestrians and cars from the second story of a building

in the 600 block at 7:16 p.m.

MONDAY

* Bluebird Canyon Drive: A woman reported a man employed by a

carpet cleaning company ignored her when she told him to stop pouring

a liquid into the storm drain in the 1300 block at 11:41 a.m.

* Iris Way: A man reported he received a framed picture from his

ex-girlfriend that had the words “kill him” written all over it in

the 2400 block at 3:55 p.m.

* Laguna Canyon Road: A woman reported credit cards were stolen

out of her vehicle in the 900 block at 1:02 p.m.

* Park Avenue: A wallet was reported stolen out of a car in the

300 block at 4:17 p.m.

SUNDAY

* Glenneyre Street: A man reported his 1997 Ford Mustang was

stolen out of the library parking lot in the 300 block at 2:23 a.m.

* Glenneyre Street: Wireless phones were reported stolen out of a

house in the 800 block at 12:19 p.m.

* North Coast Highway: A Hawthorne man was arrested on a warrant

for driving with a suspended license after police responded to a

report of a fight in the 60 block at 3:02 a.m.

* St. Ann’s Drive: A Cal State Fullerton professor reported a

student was bothering her at her doorstep in the 600 block at 3:19

p.m.

SATURDAY

* La Mirada Street: A digital camera, banking information and a

tote bag were reported stolen in the 1000 block at 8:02 p.m.

* Monterey Street and Poplar Street: Police received a report that

the front of a house had been defaced by graffiti at 9:12 a.m.

* South Coast Highway: A man reported his camera was stolen out of

his car in the 31100 block at 9:16 a.m.

* Summit Drive: A San Juan Capistrano teenager was arrested on

suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a

fictitious ID and being a minor in possession of alcohol in the 700

block at 10:16 p.m. Two other teenagers, one from Dana Point and one

from Laguna Niguel, were cited on suspicion of being minors in

possession of alcohol.

FRIDAY

* Dumond Drive and Victoria Drive: Graffiti was reported in

Victoria Tunnel 7:18 a.m.

* Main Beach: A transient was arrested on suspicion of assaulting

a peace officer and resisting arrest in the 100 block at 5:32 p.m.

* Main Beach: A transient was arrested on suspicion of being drunk

in public after police responded to an indecent exposure report in

the 100 block at 6:48 p.m.

* North Coast Highway and Crescent Bay Drive: A pedestrian was

reportedly struck by a van at 1:29 p.m.

* Shaws Cove: A man was reportedly yelling at pedestrians in the

400 block at 3:58 p.m.

* South Coast Highway: Police received a report that a pizza

parlor employee had dumped cleaning fluid down a storm drain in the

200 block at 8:56 a.m.
