Red Rhinos shut down Wings in 3-0 victory

The Red Rhinos scored all three of their goals in the second period

and then rode a strong defensive effort to shut down the Wings 3-0 in

Campbell Division play at Coast 2 Coast Inline Hockey Center in

Huntington Beach

Aron Wong, Trent Morsk and Niley Smith each scored and Jonathan

Cooper had an assist. Tori Gianformaggio recorded the shutout on 15

saves.

Jake Grothjan had 25 saves for the Wings.

In other Campbell Division games:

Mighty Ducks 6, Hot Shots 2

Alex Kao posted four goals to lead the Mighty Ducks in scoring.

Michael Khamer finished with a goal and three assists and

Christopher Kao had a goal and assist. Paul Studer had 20 saves for

the Mighty Ducks.

Jack Koulos scored both of the Hot Shots’ goals and Emmett Jaeger

had 20 saves.

Bullfrogs 1, Rink Raiders 0

Alexander McCabe got the shutout on 18 saves and Patrick Baikie

scored unassisted in the second period to lift the Bullfrogs.

Roller Dogs 4, Dyno-Mites 4

The Roller Dogs rallied for three goals in the final period to

earn a tie with the Dyno-Mites.

Jake Pope scored twice, James Keithahn had a goal and assist and

Luke Winstead scored once for the Roller Dogs. Slater Ott had 18

saves for the Roller Dogs.

Travis Williams scored the first three goals for the Dyno-Mites,

Philip Soma scored once, Maxwell Votaw had a pair of assists and

Jeremy Williams also had an assist.

Jason Austin finished with 14 saves.
