Schedules of OCC classes to come out

Printed schedules for Orange Coast College’s fall semester will be

available starting July 1.

Classes will start Aug. 30, and touch-tone registration begins

July 19. Nearly 2,500 classes in more than 100 academic and vocational areas will be offered.

The fall schedule is currently available on the college’s website.

The college has received 17% more applications than last year,

said Nancy Kidder, OCC’s administrative dean of admissions and

records.

The admissions and records office is open Monday through Thursday

this summer, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The campus is closed on Fridays.

Volunteers to be awarded at center

Milestone Health Care Center will salute its volunteers tonight at

its facility at 2570 Newport Blvd.

The festivities at the convalescent home, which include wine, hors

d’oeuvres, dinner and an awards presentation, kicks off at 6 p.m. For
