“STILL LIFE”

A group exhibition titled “Still Life” will include still life

works by McCreery Jordan, Jan Magdaleno and Shirley Murray. The

gallery will also introduce work by Nancy Carroll. The exhibition

LOCA ART ESCAPES

Artist Jacquie Moffett will demonstrate how to use acrylics and

watercolors to paint the color white. The workshop will begin at 2

“DIRTY DIVAS”

The Ocean Avenue Brewery will show large-sized prints of Hollywood

personalities in “off-guard” moments. The exhibition will run through

OUR TOWN IN

THE EARLY 1900s

“Greetings from Laguna Beach: Our Town in the Early 1900s” at the

Laguna Art Museum will feature paintings, photographs and memorabilia

that chronicle life in Laguna Beach circa 1900 to 1930. The exhibit

includes works by William Wendt, Joseph Kleitsch, Clarence Hinkle,

Edgar Payne and Anna Hills. In 1910, Laguna’s population was around

300 and many of its residents were writers, artists and musicians --

much like today. Featuring many of Laguna Beach’s landmarks, past and

present, it’s a vivid history of Laguna Beach. Laguna Art Museum is

A TASTE OF WINE

Wine tasting takes place from 5 to 9 p.m. every Friday at Len’s

SATURDAY

SAWDUST FESTIVAL TOUR

The Sawdust Art Festival’s Art Studio Tour lets members of the

public visit the private studios of more than 50 Laguna Beach

artists. The Art Studio Tour will provide transportation from the

Sawdust Art Festival to all studios. The tour will end with a

reception at the Sawdust Art Festival. The tour will go on from 10

a.m. to 4 p.m., and the reception will be held until 6 p.m. The

Sawdust Art Festival is located at 935 Laguna Canyon Road. The cost

will be $65 for a weekend pass, or $45 for a single day pass. The

price for senior citizens purchasing a single day pass will be $40.

LATIN JAZZ AND DANCING

Romeo Cucina will feature Latin jazz and dancing with Ivan

Marcello and his band. The music will begin at 8 p.m. Saturdays.

CHAMBER MUSIC

Philharmonic Society of Orange County Director Dean Corey will be

discussing “Chamber Music: Out of the Box,” with an appearance by the

Chapman University String Quartet, at 1 p.m. A full chamber music

concert by the Deodara Quartet at 3 p.m. The event will be held at

the Laguna College of Art and Design, 2222 Laguna Canyon Road.
